Participants about the programme
My participation in World of Audit in 2023 allowed me to broaden my knowledge about the specifics of an auditor’s job, and the workshops brought me closer to the perspective of auditing financial institutions, which interested me. The final case study was an interesting and interactive client project simulation, during which we worked in audit teams, and put into practice the knowledge we had acquired during in the workshops. Soon after the workshops ended, I received a full-time job offer and joined KPMG as an Associate.
Magdalena, Associate I, Audit of Financial Institutions
I had been interested in audit for some time when I decided to apply for the World of Audit. The combination of theory and practice is what I enjoyed the most about the programme. I got to see what an auditor’s job is like and realised the importance of teamwork and task sharing. The key feature of the programme is the guarantee of a job or internship offer if you maintain 100% attendance at the workshops. It’s an excellent opportunity for those who want to gain their first work experience while still studying and start building their career path.
Wojtek, Intern. Corporate Audit
I have been working at KPMG for many years, and I also share the knowledge and experience I’ve gained with the participants of the World of Audit. One of my main tasks during the workshops is observing groups as they work on case studies. Having direct contact with the candidates helps to reduce the barriers and allows us to get to know each other better. I recommend participation in the workshops to anyone who thinks about internships or taking their first steps into auditing.
Anna, Partner Associate. Corporate Audit
