- at minimum 5 years of recent direct experience in customs managed services delivery
- proven track record in managing complex customs processes
- outstanding skills/knowledge in the area of FTA and/or classification and strong understanding of other Trade & Customs areas and new customs regulations (e.g. CBAM)
- excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to plan and conduct in-depth reviews of transactional data using data and analytics
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills & strong attention to detail and accuracy
- strong English language communication skills, both written and verbal
- collaborative team player with a focus on continuous improvement
- ability to travel both domestically and internationally
- experience in a leadership or team lead role is preferred

- contributing to the continued enhancement of KPMG’s services, including improvements in process, training and technology
- leading other professionals in the delivery of Customs Managed services
- performing quality control activities, including the review of coworkers’ deliverables being prepared in Poland and other geographical locations
- applying independent judgment to review intermediate and complex trade compliance work product, confirm its correctness and identify necessary revisions
- stay current with updates and changes in trade regulations, including new regulations like Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and ensure these are effectively monitored within the organization
- manage and oversee complex customs processes to ensure they are efficient, compliant
- identify areas for improvement in the quality control process and implement changes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- conduct deep analyses of managed services to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- provide detailed reports and recommendations to senior management based on analysis findings
- monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client satisfaction
- regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs and ensure services provided align with their goals
