On a daily basis, I support clients in the process of arranging financing and negotiating loan agreements. One of my biggest projects was a debt refinancing of about 2 billion zlotys, which ended with our great success. However, the best aspect of the job is the people. I support clients in the transformation of ‘back office’ functions in the areas of finance and accounting, HR, IT, supply chain management, as well as real estate management. The transformation concerns the centralisation and standardisation of processes to a Shared Service Centre model. I manage the SSO team and have been working in business consulting for a dozen years now and there is constantly something exciting happening here. The project that was most memorable for me was the design of a business function operating model for the largest gold and aluminium miner in Saudi Arabia. Visiting the client was a valuable professional and cultural experience.
